First Carat Diamond believes every woman should be able to own her very first carat. Using modern setting techniques and years of research, we have mastered new techniques for maximising the size of a diamond. High quality diamonds set in in intricate and complex setting give the effect of a 1 carat solitaire or bigger.
For all diamond lovers, the initial venture into the market will naturally involve the 4 Cs. Carat, Colour, Cut, and Clarity. Read more about our quality here.
With our unique method of setting, we have circumvented the need for the high cost of a single stone dictated by the restrictions of the 4Cs. We source our diamonds diligently and only utilise high quality smaller stones. Each piece is set by hand and goes through a vigorous process that ensures each component has its own unique and results in a harmonious masterpiece.
Natalie initially was a banker working in HSBC in London. Already fond of jewellery and with a huge passion for all things beautiful, she decided to go on a personal journey of learning more. Widely travelled and having represented Hong Kong in beauty pageants internationally, she is now a trained bench jeweller with experience in setting, diamond grading and jewellery design with the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). She was approached by many friends when it came to their engagement rings. Noticing they loved what she herself was wearing she decided to set up a jewellery company based on pieces she loved. Currently working on sourcing the best diamonds and designers to work exclusively for us and supplier relationships. A great designer in her own right she enjoys working with clients on the great designs we have developed.
